Wednesday Favorites #3 (and a few updates)

It's been six months since i've updated this blog with anything. So, I thought as a new post I would start with something easy and share a few things that I love and give a few updates on life.

Let's start with some updates.

+ We adopted a new puppy, named Ripley. We think she is a boxer/black lab mix. (-->)

+ I've been freelancing for a full-time for a year now! I can't believe how fast this past year has gone.

+ I'm crossing a major thing off my 'things to do this year list' from the start of the year.
I booked a trip to Europe this November, for a week! I'm so excited and I can't wait.

+ After living here in SC for 6 plus months, I've come to the conclusion that I'm more of a city person than I thought I was and I actually miss Ohio.

+ I'm reviving Ink & Arrows and Issue 11 will be releasing soon.

My Creative Market Releases

Falling Flowers Logo Template // A sweet feminine logo for a boutique or brand. $10

Wanderlust Square Magazine Template // Whether you are a designerphotographerblogger or content creator, try showing off your work with the Wanderlust Template. $7

'Skull' Vincent Van Gough Vans // There was doubt that these would end up in my possession. Van Gough is one my favorite artists and I had to pick these up.

Pendulum Pilsner by Raven Beer (x) // I'm not much of a beer drinker but I had to grab a six pack of Pendulum Pilsner just because of the artwork. (As a bonus the beer is pretty good so it wasn't waste!)

Blackout by Dannika Dark // This is the fifth book in the Crossbreed series and it was pretty good. I definitely recommend this series if you like paranormal romance.

Tomb Raider Archives 1-4 by Top Cow // Comics aren't my thing. But recently I found one of my original TR comics from when I was little and it sparked my interest. So I went out and grabbed the 4 archive collection books with all the comics.

Freelance, and Business, and Stuff by Hoodzpah Design Co// "How to start your own business, grow your client base, and promote yourself without selling out or starving. This no faff, no fluff guide is peppered with applicable advice (things we learned from starting our own business), unasked-for humor, and worksheets (homework, gasp!) to help you just get started already. Because raw talent and good ideas aren’t enough. And because you can do this. Really. By Amy Hood and Jen Hood, co-founders of Hoodzpah (the branding agency site you’re on now), Odds & Sods (a goods line), and Connecting Things (a creative meetup)."
A must-have for freelance creatives.
